Mother Ocean Day

Mother Ocean Day was first devised by a Kayaking group in Florida, USA. It is hoped that for a day, people will consider the wonder of the great oceans, the life within it and the important role it plays in Earth’s ecosystems.

For young children it can be opportunity for learning about sea animals, creating some ocean-themed artwork or visiting the coast!
