30 Days Wild & The Big Wild Weekend

30 Days Wild is the UK's largest nature challenge, organised annually by The Wildlife Trusts. It encourages individuals, families, schools, and organisations to engage with nature by performing a "Random Act of Wildness" each day throughout June. These activities can range from planting wildflowers and listening to birdsong to exploring local green spaces. The initiative aims to foster a deeper connection with the natural world and promote well-being through daily interactions with nature.

Participants can sign up to receive free resources, including activity guides, spotter sheets, and digital content to inspire daily wild activities. There are tailored packs available for adults and children, ensuring age-appropriate engagement.

The Big Wild Weekend is a highlight within the 30 Days Wild campaign, typically occurring in mid-June. During this weekend, Wildlife Trusts across the UK host special events to bring communities together in celebration of nature. Activities may include guided walks, wildlife workshops, and family-friendly events designed to deepen participants' connection to the environment.

Participating in 30 Days Wild and the Big Wild Weekend offers an opportunity to connect with nature, learn about local biodiversity, and contribute to conservation efforts.
