'I DREAM...' POEM
Poetry writing frame to encourage use of descriptive words.
• Child to think of something that they dream, wish and hope.
• Child (or scribing adult) to write the ‘something’ in the first rounded box on each page and then think of two words to help describe the ‘something’ they thought of.
• There is no need for the words to rhyme.
• The large box on each page is for an illustration.
Assist the child in performing their poem and enjoying the beauty and rhythm of the language!
