These puzzles can help to develop an understanding of how living things change over time. Visit our ‘Life Cycles’ page for additional similar resources.
Print any of the following cards relevant to your child(ren) and place them in time order together to develop and consolidate the concept of time passing.
Consider using time related words and phrases such as ‘first’, ‘next’, ‘then’, ‘later’, ‘before’, ‘after’, ‘in the morning/afternoon/evening’, ‘at night time’, ‘earlier’, ‘later’, ‘today’, ‘yesterday’ and ‘tomorrow’.

Consolidate knowledge of o’ clock times further by using our self-check puzzles.
Consider using one of our themed ‘Daily Calendar Displays’ to engage children in learning about the days of the week, date, months, years and seasons. We have two sizes (small and large) for each theme.
