3D SHAPES IN THE ENVIRONMENT - CHECKLIST
3D shapes in the environment checklist.
Designed to inspire children to investigate the 3D shapes everywhere. Why not use it on an out and about ‘Shape Walk’?…or in a ‘Shape Investigation’ area in your setting?
Alternatively, use as part of a display area to enrich your setting environment or as the stimulus of a tuff spot activity.
Two sheets included within pack. The first sheet has space for one tick (to be marked once the appropriate shape has been found in the environment) and an additional sheet has been provided to allow up to 3 ticks per shape.
Great for giving children a broader understanding of what e.g. a ‘cube’ is and how the mathematical shape translates to objects around us in the ‘real world’.
